Video Transcript for MB Sturgis Propane - Hoses - 100284-60-MBS Review

Today we're going to take a look at the MB Sturgis 60 inch Propane Adapter Hose with the male 1 inch by 20 swivel and the other end is the female 1 inch by 20 swivel. Now, this is made of a thermal plastic construction, has a 1/4 inch inner diameter, and again has the male on this end. It's a 1 inch by 20 swivel end. You can see right here. On this end you can see it as the female 1 inch by 20 swivel end. Now, this hose is designed to connect to small portable camping appliances to propane distribution trees or to connect them to a quick disconnect "T" adapter. The total length on this if we extend it out is 60 inches in length.

That should do it for the review on the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose with the male and female 1 inch by 20 swivel ends.

It's an extension hose for 1 pound type canisters to grill/stoves. It works. I bought it to attach to my "Extend-a-stay" LP tank adapter so I could run an outdoor LP grill off my main RV tank. Many folks may prefer a longer hose for that purpose. It works great to relocate a 1 pound can away from your stove or grill though.

Purchased a table top fire pit - yes I know sounds odd - and of course it didn't fit my table. Luckily found extension hose on etrailer. Description helped determine fit etc.. Was easy to find on website and hose came quickly. Saved my project! Thank you.

They had the product, and got it to me on time.
Be careful though if you need something in a hurry - the website updates expected delivery times automatically (sometime in the afternoon - not sure anyone really knows when) , so when you select the overnight, 2-day, and 3 day ship window, be careful that your order really met the mysterious order submit deadline. That was my headache! Best just to order in the morning, to avoid any confusion about when your order will be processed and shipped, to avoid unexpected delays.

  • 12 Foot Long Propane Hose to Connect BBQ to Disposable Cylinder Fitting
The large port on your Extend a Stay, basically part # CAM59113, is a male 1 - 20 disposable cylinder connection. To hook your BBQ grille up using that fitting you can use part # 204132-MBS which is an adapter to a Type 1 fitting. Then use a Type 1 hose with a regulator, like part # CAM57721, that's 12 feet long and has a 3/8 female flare to connect to the grill. If these parts don't have the correct fittings let me know.

  • Parts Needed to Connect 20-lb Propane Tank to 2 Camp Stoves
If you're just using a standard 20-lb or 30-lb propane tank you could use something like the Camco Propane "Y" Adapter w/ Handwheel - Male P.O.L. x (2) 1"-20 Male # CAM59893, which will connect to the POL fitting on the container. After that it gets a little more complicated, but assuming that these appliances have their own regulators, you could then just use something like the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose for Small Appliance - Disposable Cylinder Ports - 5' # 100284-60-MBS to connect...

  • How To Use a Camco Big Red Portable Gas Campfire With the Camper's Main Propane Tanks
It sounds like you are wanting to use the Camco Big Red Portable Gas Campfire part # CAM58035 with the quick disconnect port on your trailer and if that is the case I do have another option for you but this cannot be done as there is not a low pressure conversion kit that will work with the Camco Big Red Portable Gas Campfire. I confirmed this with my contact at Camco. Instead, you will need to install a t-fitting just before the regulator on your propane tank(s), the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay...

  • Parts Needed To Run Ozark Trail 2 Burner Stove of RVs Propane Tanks
So your Ozark Trail 2 burner stove is designed for a disposable cylinder and will not work with a low pressure port on your RV due to the stove having a built in regulator and needing unregulated propane. There's no way to remove the regulator from the stove but there is a work around. To be able to use your stove with your RVs propane tank you'll need to install a Tee # 37207-30215 into your tank between the tank and the pigtail hose, and then you'll use the hose # 100284-60-MBS for...

  • Will MB Sturgis Propane Hose 100476-120-MBS Fit a Coleman Disposable Propane Grill/Tank
MB Sturgis RV Quick Connect Propane Hose # 100476-120-MBS will not work with the small throw away propane tanks. If your RV has a 1/4 inch quick disconnect receptacle and the appliance itself takes a 1"-20 male thread-on fitting then it will work. If you are looking for something that will work with the small throw away tanks you will likely need # 100284-60-MBS.
